Partner Coaching

A partnership adds complexity to the already tough job of building a strong and profitable business. It's important that each partner knows his own motivation and what he expects from the partnership. When personal expectations are not met it can become a source of upset, dissatisfaction and negative outcomes if not dealt with ASAP.

Partnerships work when all partners are focusing on the same business goals, while also working toward their own personal goals. Each partner is using his strengths to build and support the business. Each has his personal expectations met and is accountable to the others for agreements made. The way to an effective partnership is through communication, agreement and accountability.

Is your partnership struggling because of:
  • different work styles
  • lack of constructive communication
  • differences of opinion on building or managing the business
  • compensation issues
  • work/life balance discrepancies
  • differing succession planning strategies

"Thanks for helping us sort out the issues in our partnership and getting us focused on our best assets. It was great to agree on what we wanted and know we have a plan to get it."
Margi Briggs-Lofton, Simpatico Partners, LLC
You are not alone. Many partnerships find themselves needing help.

Frequently an outside perspective (and sometimes intermediary) can be helpful in sorting out partnership issues and concerns. As my practice has grown I've worked with an increasing number of partnerships in a variety of situations.

Sometimes it's a disenchanted or frustrated partner looking for help in addressing long-standing issues; sometimes it's all the partners seeking guidance in maximizing the benefit of their partnership; sometimes it's one or more partners at the decision-making point about whether or not to become part of an existing or proposed partnership.

A partnership with the potential to grow and develop profitably can end in absolute misery for lack of resolving oustanding partnership issues. Don't let that happen to your business.

If you'd like to schedule a time to discuss your partnership, select Partner Coaching on the Contact page and I'll be in touch to schedule a time to talk. I may be able to help.
